Big Ultimate Fight Tonight For Travis Browne
Posted by Nancy on February 19, 2014
When Travis Browne gravitated to this new sport and laced up a pair of boxing gloves for that first match, he had no idea of the success that he would experience. Five years ago, this former college basketball player had no thought that he would be in a fight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. That, however is precisely what he will be doing if he wins the match tonight against Fabricio Werdum. Both fighters bring an array of talents to tonight’s match-up. The winner will then go on to meet the reigning UFC champion, Cain Velasquez later this year after Velasquez recovers from shoulder surgery. Browne saw early success when he switched to ultimate fighting as sport up and racked up nine victories over the course of one year. After signing a contract with the UFC he went on to compete in nine more matches, losing only one. He has climbed the ranks of his sport rapidly and fans will be eager to see him continue his rise.
