How About Those Jazz!

Talk about an intense game – the Monday night meeting between the Utah Jazz and the Boxton Celtics had all the drama and aggression of a hollywood film. Bodies were dropping on both sides of the court all night long. It was a game that both teams badly wanted in order to gain home court advantage if they should meet in the play-offs. The Jazz were the victors in this battle, coming out on top with a 110-97 win. The match-up of the point guards,Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo, was explosive. The emotions were running high and it could be seen on the faces of the players of both teams. The coaches got into the act too, with Doc Rivers being ejected from the game in the final minutes of the fourth quarter for taunting the refs. This win brings the Jazz to an overall season record of 46-25 including 7 straight home wins. They have lead the NBA over the past 5 weeks in points, win margin, assists and points in the paint. Presently only half a game separates the 3 and 4 spots in the Western Conference standings. It looks like it will be a fight to the finish this year for the Utah Jazz.
