Is RSL Performance Slipping?

If one believes what coach Jason Kreis is saying, then it may be that our stellar Real Salt Lake team is slipping a bit in their play of late. At least they are not exhibiting the same gusto and determination to win that they did in the earlier part of July. Their record for the last two and a half weeks has been a mediocre 2-1-2 and that is not what the coach wants to see at this point of the season. For the first time this season they have turned in a two game winless streak which likely doesn’t sit well with Coach Kreis. Tonight they will be at Rio Tinto Stadium matched up against D.C. United with whom they have an all time record of 4-4-3. If they hope to get this win tonight everyone on the team is going to have to give a little more according to their coach. He suggests that each player needs to demonstrate a little more passion and discipline and the fans are hoping to see that as well. RSL fans have become accustomed to winning a lot of games and they do not want to see that change.
