Jazz Stay On Winning Road

Posted by

Three games into the pre-season play and three wins to show for it. Not bad. Now if this trend can just continue on into the regular season, Jazz fans are going to be loving it. After winning both meetings with the Portland Trailblazers, the Jazz came up against the Phoenix Suns last night and enjoyed the same outcome. The final score was 105-100 with Al Jefferson leading the way with 16 points. Close behind him was C.J. Miles who contributed 13 points in twenty three minutes of play. Coach Jerry Sloan continues to make adjustments to his line-up and so far it seems to be paying off. The unexpected surprise of the night was the play of Othyus Jeffers who hustled his way to racking up 12 points while showing some great intensity which seemed to spark his teammates. Raja Bell contributed 5 points for the Jazz in last nights effort while playing in front of his former fans in Phoenix who gave him a warm reception. He’s a stand-up guy and Utah fans are happy to once again see him wearing the Jazz uniform
