No Magic For Orlando

The Utah Jazz managed to sweep the Orlando Magic by winning Friday nights game with a score of 117-105. On a night when Deron Williams was getting it done on both sides of the court and Paul Millsap was earning every bit of his salary, things were clicking for the home team. This is just what the team needed after losing badly to the Miami Heat on Wednesday night in front of their home crowd. Al Jefferson was dynamite on defense against the league’s “Superman“, Dwight Howard, who ended up with only 14 points to his credit for the night. C.J. Miles was also back in peak form with his season high 26 points, including four three-pointers, reminding fans that they are glad he’s wearing a Jazz basketball uniform rather than that of one of the other NBA teams. It was definitely a fun game to watch, at least from Jazz fans viewpoint and they are likely hoping for another such exhibition tonight when their team meets the fearsome Dallas Mavericks. With Dirk Nowitski and the uncanny ability of his shot attempts to find the basketball goal on such a regular basis, the Jazz have got their work cut out for them.
