Two Duds In A Row

Posted by

After the humiliating loss that the Jazz suffered to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Utah fans were hoping for a much better outcome for game number two. After all, the Jazz would be playing on their home court where they have a history of playing very tough. Not so on this outing. Last night as the team came up against the Phoenix Suns, they again faltered, this time in front of their home crowd. Not exactly the way the fans had envisioned the start of the season for their team. Not everyone played horribly last night. Paul Millsap played a good game as did Al Jefferson and several other Jazz teammates. Noticeably absent from this list, however, were the guards. All-Star Deron Williams shot a dismal field goal percentage in the game making only three of his twelve attempts and ending up with only 13 points, far below what we’ve come to expect from him. We’re going to have to see a much better effort if we hope to start winning some of these games.
