Way To Go Cougars!

The BYU Cougars put the finishing touch on their awesome football season by beating Oregon State 44-20 in the Maaco Bowl game which was played in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.  On an unusually frigid night (wind gusts of almost forty miles an hour) the Cougars played their hearts out making very few mistakes.  The win makes yet another statement for their program and the underrated teams in theMoutain West Conference.  Coach Bronco Mendenhall speculated that BYU could well end up in the top ten nationally after the win.  The Cougars have now won three of their last bowl games.  Quarterback, Max Hall was named player of the game and deservedly so.  He delivered with a 19-30, 192 yard, three touch-down performance.  The defense played outstanding football, holding the number 16th ranked PAC-10 team to only 20 points.
