COMBINES THE SKILL OF BOCCE WITH THE CHALLENGE OF SPELLING! Toss & Spell is a large group activity that is played similarly to traditional bocce ball. Unlike bocce though, teams 'score' by spelling words to accumulate points. With enough equipment for two 16-player teams, the game begins as players toss all of their beanbags at the red target beanbag. Only beanbags that land within an 18" diameter of the red target beanbag are used. Teams then combine these beanbags to spell as many words as possible. Great care was taken when designing Toss & Spell to select only letters that when combined will not spell profane or unhealthy words. Each word spelled then counts as one point. (Blue team works with the blue beanbags and the Yellow team with yellow beanbags). Once all possible word combinations have been exhausted, begin the next round by tossing the red target beanbag to another location and play again.
Each set includes 32 four inch durable vinyl beanbags with silk-screened lettering (16 Blue, 16 Yellow), 1 five inch red target beanbag with an 18 inch attached measuring cord, 1 mesh carrying bag and activity guide.
