The new High School rules for pole vault landing systems include the requirement of hard surfaces between the vault box and the padded landing area be covered with a minimum 2" of high density foam. The collar measures 2" x 5' x 5' and constructed from bright yellow, 18 oz. vinyl for maximum visibility.
