How About Those Jazz!

Posted by

The Monday night match between Boxton Celtics and Utah Jazz had all the drama and anger of an action film! On both sides of the court, bodies were falling all night long. Both teams wanted to win the game so badly so they could gain home court advantage when they meet in the play-offs. In this battle, Jazz became the victors with a score of 110-97. Point guards Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo met head to head and it was explosive!

Tensions were high and it is obviously seen on the player’s faces on both teams. Even the coaches were involved, Doc Rivers was removed from the game during the final minutes of the last quarter because he taunted the refs. Winning brought the Jazz to the over-all season record of 46-25 that includes 7 straight home wins. In the past 5 years, they have led the NBA in terms of points, assists, win margins and free throws. Right now the only thing separating the 3rd and 4th spot in the Western Conference standings is half a game. Looks like they will fight it to the finish.
