Lakers End Jazz Winning Streak

The Lakers went to the games at Energy Solutions Arena without their star player Kobe Bryant and still managed to defeat Jazz who had a 9 game winning streak.
Maybe Jazz was being complacent because of their recent wins or maybe lacked focus just or was possibly tired from playing the night before. Whatever the reason may be, from the start Utah was playing with lethargy.
The Lakers won because Pau Gasol garnered 22 points and 19 rebounds, while Lamar Odom contributed 25 points and 11 rebounds. For the Jazz team, the highest scores came from Andrei Kirilenko who gave 17 points and newbie Wesley Matthews with 13 points. Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams gave 11 points each.
It’s hard to see the Jazz winning streak end but at least they lost to two of the best teams in NBA than conceding to the teams who are at the bottom.
