Unlikely Hero

Posted by

A lot of training is needed to become a reliable kicker in football. Andy Phillips, however, is in a league on his own. The resident Utah Ute kicker never played football before he signed up with the team. He plays his heart out every time he takes to the gridiron. To this day, he has converted all of his 11 field goals. He has attempted 27 Points After Touchdown (PAT) and made all of them. This is why he is part of the All-American team of ESPN.com. He also won the Pac-12’s Special Teams Player for a week. This is a player who never had the chance to lace up his football shoes before. The good thing about this man is that he still has his both feet grounded.
